Comparing WoW’s Fundamentals Over Time: Scale
From one patch to the next, and one expansion to the next, World of Warcraft has gone through a colossal number of changes. This video is the fifth in a series in which Auronado will be comparing the fundamentals of World of Warcraft over time.
This is the second part of the World category, Questing.
Our aim is to compare the changes to the fundamentals of the game over the years, and see which decisions helped the game, and which were negative.
Not every major decision the developers have made sounded good at the time, but worked out in the end. The reverse is also true.
At times, these comparisons will be very critical, but the hope is that shining light on some of the core issues will help the game return to its roots, and make WoW great again!
